Since January 2024, the Maison des jeunes de Granby (MDJ) has taken a new step by opening a second service location. This space, exclusively dedicated to teenagers aged 12 to 17, meets a growing demand in the community, particularly in developing neighborhoods where the need for a safe space for young people was pressing.
Now, approximately 4,000 teenagers in Granby have access to this additional gathering place, bringing essential services closer to support their well-being and academic success.

In 2023, Les Jardins de la Terre, an organization dedicated to reintegration into the job market for young people aged 16 to 30, enabled 17 young people to participate in a socio-professional integration program tailored to their needs.
Among them, 11 completed this demanding journey, and 81% of the participants subsequently found employment or resumed their studies. Thanks to this support, these young people not only developed new skills but also regained confidence in their future.

Providing daytime support to 5,663 people during the 2023-2024 year, La Porte du Passant’s interventions reached a majority of men (65%) and women (35%), with a significant proportion (2,829) of individuals aged 35 to 54.
Thanks to its services, 2,080 nights of shelter were provided, offering refuge to those in need.
Additionally, the organization served 21,577 meals, thereby meeting essential food needs within the community. The team works daily to prevent homelessness and support individuals through the residential support project (SRA), helping those experiencing homelessness reintegrate into housing.

La Moisson Maskoutaine distributed over
555,000 kilograms of food last year to its
17 member organizations, supporting
nearly 5,000 people monthly.
Thanks to this assistance, 652 grocery baskets were
provided, 22,178 meals served, and 9,714 snacks
distributed, meeting the essential food
needs of the community.

The Centre de bénévolat d’Acton Vale, which offers transportation and medical accompaniment services for seniors, completed 784 accompaniment trips in 2023.
Thanks to this essential service, provided by dedicated volunteers, medical appointments are made accessible, helping to combat seniors’ isolation while ensuring safe transportation.

Entraide pour Hommes supported 1,284 men
facing situations of violence or relational difficulties by offering group meetings, non-violence training, and close-proximity interventions.
The organization also referred 20 men to specialized services for those experiencing violence. Among the beneficiaries, 11% reported suicidal thoughts, and 35% experienced a breakup during the year.

In the Richelieu-Yamaska area, 221,738
volunteer hours were completed by over 4,300 volunteers. This is equivalent to a company with 132 full-time employees.
Thanks to the many volunteer programs offered by our 59 partner organizations and the impressive generosity of our volunteers, the community receives invaluable support that enables it to assist the most vulnerable.
Over the past year, the Boomerang workshops at Carrefour Naissance-Famille in Sorel-Tracy welcomed 71 participants.
Designed for men with children, these workshops provide a space for meeting and sharing, allowing fathers to discuss their challenges and receive valuable support in their parental role while fostering a sense of solidarity among participants.
