The 10th edition of the André Harbec Cycling Challenge, held from September 8 to 10, 2023, in the Brome-Missisquoi region, was a resounding success. This cycling challenge, organized annually by Mr. André Harbec, a philanthropist committed to Centraide’s cause for many years, brought together around 30 determined cyclists. Thanks to their generosity and Mr. Harbec’s commitment, a total of $5,000 was raised to support Centraide Richelieu-Yamaska.

The previous year, the André Harbec Challenge had already demonstrated the power of solidarity by raising $3,500 for Centraide Richelieu-Yamaska. This event continues to grow and inspire participants, proving that every pedal stroke can make a significant difference in our community.

Participants had the choice between three routes: a 45 KM gravel path, a 65 KM route, and an 85 KM route. All rides started at 9 AM from the Cowansville Nature Center, and cyclists could choose to participate in one, two, or three days of the challenge. With a cost of $75 per participant, regardless of the number of days attended, this challenge is accessible to anyone who wants to contribute while cycling for a good cause.
