Every year, FTQ Montérégie, in partnership with the Desjardins Workers United Credit Union, organizes a golf tournament hosting more than 150 players. This event, highly anticipated by golfers, sells out year after year, demonstrating the solidarity that prevails.
For the 11th edition of the Guy Champagne Golf Open, held on September 8, 2023, at the Saint-Césaire Golf Club, a record amount of $30,000 was raised. This amount will be equally distributed between Centraide Richelieu-Yamaska and Centraide Sud-Ouest, each receiving $15,000 to support their initiatives.
Enthusiasm and participation continue to grow each year. In 2022, the tournament achieved remarkable success by raising $28,000, allowing $14,000 to be donated to each of the two Centraides. This event is highly anticipated by golfers, selling out year after year, and demonstrating undeniable solidarity.
